Although Sgt. Runa represents a loving homage to Sgt. Peppers it’s also a million miles away from the rich world-famous Beatles at their prime.

All you need isn’t love when you’re too poor for clothes that fit, but Runa does her best.

The uniform is clearly too big for Runa as a child. It’s secondhand, held together by pins and needles and falling apart. Some believe the uniform represents the state of the music industry compared to what it was in the 60s. Runa beautifies herself with a clothespin in her ear and costume jewellery awards.
